In an industry that is drowning with overprocessed, grossly overrated, unoriginal crap these days, this is our chance to allow the real stars to shine, if only on our humble, little stage; and expose you to some of our favorite talents.

“Riff After Riff” is the first proper American release that the Wildhearts have received in almost a decade. And what a great time for it, as the band is currently supporting The Darkness in their American tilt.
This is an album which is chock full of B-Sides. No reason to worry though, often times the Wildhearts B-Sides are better than their A-Sides. The first song “Stormy in the North..” was the Widlhearts English come back single, and it’s a great up tempo romp. “Putting It On” quickly follows with a huge Wildhearts chorus and gritty verses, something that they have been doing for years. No one can accuse Ginger and the boys of not following their Cheap Trick playbooks.
And so it goes for the whole of the album. Hard driven choruses with great riffs followed up by huge happy choruses. Add in a dash of timing changes and you have what has made the Wildhearts so great to listen to over the years.
